The vibrant, transparent colors that make up the Woodburst® product line are unlike any you've ever experienced. The primary, intermixable colors of red, yellow and blue are just the beginning for Woodburst®. They may be blended to produce custom effects or added to lacquer, polyurethane or other oil-based stains to achieve an unlimited palette. The transparency of Woodburst® stains comes from the use of pigments that are crystalline. The crystals filter out all light except for the color you seek. These crystals are suspended in a tung oil base that is actually good for wood. In fact, tung oil, which is produced from the nut of the tung tree (Aleurites fordii), has been used for centuries as a wood preservative.
All Woodburst® woodstains are now lightfast, making them great for outdoor or indoor use. Our indoor stains have more pigment than outdoor stains, to allow for a variety of colorful or subdued applications.
Natural Pigment Extender
Our Natural Pigment Extender deserves some special notice because of its properties when mixed with our stains. It is a physically transparent pigment extender that increases the transparency of any stain to which it is added. It allows the user to get more mileage out of stains. Plus, it softens colors. You may mix one part color with two parts of Natural Pigment Extender while retaining great color.

Chinawood Oil
Ready to use. Formulated from pure and natural tung oil. Use on any porous material such as wood, concrete, brick and butcher blocks. Brings back to life parched, faded and worn decks. A natural moisture and weather resistant treatment. Surfaces will continue to breathe, no matter how many coats you apply. Excellent for new lawn furniture and decks. Formulated with a user-friendly solvent, and coating is non-toxic when dry. 2000 years ago the Chinese were conditioning their woods boats with same material.

Prestain Conditioner
For Exterior and Interior Use
This Product is also made from pure, natural tung oil. It was designed to handle the problem of aging pressure-treated lumber. It restores the vital oil content and conditions the wood so that it uses less stain.
Prestain Conditioner is unparalleled in conditioning woods like pine, cherry, maple, and fir. It's excellent for use on fine furniture, flooring and wood work. Prestain Conditioner evens out the porosity of all of the mentioned woods and will reduce the amount of color you need to do your finishing.

All of the above products are extremely easy to apply with a rag or paper towel. The expertise required is built into the product. Unlike most oil-based products, ventilation is rarely a problem with Woodburst® products.
